Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand Waitemata provides health services to approximately 500,000 residents in the North Shore, Waitakere, and Rodney areas.
It has the largest population of any health district.North Shore Hospital is accessed by Shakespeare Road in Takapuna, and is situated on the shores of Lake Pupuke.
