Accountant

The General Accountant will manage with accuracy our general ledger to ensure the utmost precision in our financial records.

As a senior member of the Finance team, you will provide your colleagues with support and your expertise.

They will work closely with the Finance Director in the overall management of administrative, analysis, organizational and implementation duties.Duties and ResponsibilitiesEducation and Experience : Degree in Finance or Accounting, CPA qualifiedAt least 4 years of relevant working experience in similar capacityExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsSolid proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, experience in Navision and OneStream would be an advantageAbility to work under pressure in a fast-paced environmentMeticulous attention to detail, solution-driven with superb organizational skills including time management and prioritizationStrong team player with a collaborative mindsetExperience working in a diverse environmentAble to work independentlyAudit or tax service experience desiredThis position includes, but is not limited to, the following essential functions : Responsibilities : Oversee and manage the daily accounting and finance for full set of accountsPlan and manage the monthly closing process and ensure timely closing, review journals, schedules, and other related documentsIssue timely and complete period reporting and KPIs to Finance Director and GroupPrepare monthly Capex and Cash Flow reports, other ad hoc or temporary reports as requiredCoordinate financial audits and ensure corporate governance and compliance with regulatory standards and requirements including preparation of annual financial statementOversee regular tax submissions such as GST and WHTCoordinate Income Tax matters in conjunction with external tax agentSupport preparation of budget and forecast during the yearProvide expertise and support to AP / AR finance team and related processesProvide technical support to all finance functions on accounting, tax and other mattersAd-Hoc DutiesLiaise with other departments to resolve finance related issuesSupport of other Finance Team function as requiredAny other projects or duties as assigned by the Finance DirectorOTHER RESPONSIBILITIESAll staff are required to manage effective personal development as part of the Company's commitment to invest in staff as the key resource in the organization.All Staff must ensure that they meet their statutory responsibilities with regards to Health and Safety, Equal Opportunities and other relevant legislation, and should conform to professional and ethical requirements.OthersCompliance with visa requirements for working in Singapore.A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils and the willingness to undertake appropriate child protection training when required.SafeguardingAt Nord Anglia Education we are committed to providing a world class, safe, happy environment in which children and young people can thrive and learn.
