  • About the Role
  • We currently have an opportunity for a National Project Engineer to join our Group Engineering team and be critical in the development and execution of the national compliance capital program to deliver against Net Zero
  • , Seismic compliance, EPS replacement & trade waste reduction.
  • This role will have a primary focus on Environmental & Civil compliance.
  • In order to achieve this, your key responsibilities will include :
  • Design and implement roadmaps for SBTi (Science Based Target Initiatives) Net Zero
  • , Seismic, EPS replacement, risk reduction & trade waste
  • Preparation of initial feasibility studies for FEED and capital approvals.
  • Support the 10 manufacturing sites with BCP's (Business Continuity Plans) & develop internal compliance frameworks and reporting procedures
  • Prepare detailed project plans for brown and green field projects to cater low impact disruption to business operations
  • Note : Role is a 12-month fixed-term project.

    • You can be based in Auckland, Palmerston North or Christchurch.

    There is expected travel to all 10 sites across NZ.

  • About You
  • In order to make this role a success, we are looking for a qualified Project Engineer with extensive experience in brown field Project Delivery preferably with a background in Civil, Environmental and Sustainability compliance.Specifically, some of the experiences and skillsets we are looking for include :
  • An Engineering qualification (Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Electrical, or Automation) is a must; a qualification in Project Management would be highly beneficial
  • Strong cost management experience
  • Experience in a FMCG Industry 4.0 site is advantageous
  • The ability to lead a team, with the capability to lead through change & complexity
