Social Media Content Strategist

Responsibilities

Drive content direction on social media platforms within the Growth & Audio portfolio, and ensure the quality production of our social creative assets / content. He / She will play a critical role in increasing followers, reach and engagement on our existing and new social media platforms to meet our business objectives.

Takes care of content direction and output of Personality accounts, drives commercial integration needs for all social handles within Growth & Audio.

  • Understand the social media landscape and audience needs.
  • Have intimate knowledge of our brands, the content positioning and brand personality; target audience and role in the Mediacorp network.
  • Develop content and audience strategies that optimise performance of these brands and its commercial potential.
  • Identify new trends / developments and which social platforms to reach and engage the right audiences for key campaigns.
  • Manage social media campaigns with commercial, content and marketing teams to meet business objectives.

Qualifications

  • Min 4 years of working in related experience
  • Diploma or Degree holder in Mass Communication or any relevant discipline
  • Able to communicate and work effectively in cross functional teams
  • Creative and editorially driven in conceptualising content ideas
  • Adaptable and familiar with the social media space
  • Able to develop and produce content for social media space in a timely, trend‑aware manner that is aligned with brand tone
  • Familiar with digital content tools and up to date with relevant AI technology
