Warehouse Assistant / Driver (Class 2)

Most deliveries will be kegs and pallet orders to our customers, but from time to time you may also transport event or venue equipment.

The OpportunityAs a Warehouse Assistant / Driver at Good George Brewing, you'll be based in Hamilton, splitting your time between preparing orders in the warehouse, and making daily / weekly deliveries and pick-ups across the Waikato.

You'll help keep our products flowing and our customers smiling.What You'll Be Doing : Manage day-to-day warehouse tasks, including receiving and dispatching goods, stock control, and order preparation.Pick, pack, and load orders for daily deliveries.Load and unload the Good George delivery truck and other freight trucks as required.Keep the Class 2 delivery truck and company ute in good condition, ensuring all checks and maintenance are up to date.Be the face of Good George on the road – greet customers with a friendly attitude, handle deliveries with care, and ensure every interaction leaves them smiling.Work closely with customers on-site to ensure their orders are correct, solve small delivery issues on the spot, and communicate feedback to the team so we can keep improving.Follow warehouse systems and processes to maintain accuracy and efficiency.Safely handle products and materials, including hazardous goods, kegs, and packaged products.Support the team with additional delivery or warehouse tasks as required.Maintain a safe, tidy, and compliant warehouse environment at all times.What We're Looking For : Must have a current Class 2 full driver's licenceMust have a current forklift licenceFriendly and professional communication skills, with a genuine passion for great customer service and building positive relationships.Proven experience in a warehouse or store person roleProven experience with delivery drivingComfortable with physical work, including lifting and moving kegs over 25kgsStrong organisational and time management skills.What We Offer : A collaborative, supportive, and fun working environmentA role with variety – no two days are the same.Great team culture, working as a team and for each other.Competitive salary and employee benefitsStaff discounts on Good George productsThe chance to work for a well-known, growing NZ brand.Keen to join us?
