Your new role , ensuring that all production and ancillary equipment availability is maximised and that plans and strategies are in place to develop the equipment to meet medium and long term needs and be accountable for the execution of the maintenance budget.
Key responsibilities include :
Manage and drive continuous improvement initiatives to deliver the equipment reliability and maintenance plan.
Ensure there is a robust maintenance plan in place and the maintenance schedules deliver world class maintenance and engineering principles and practice.
Support delivery of the annual business plan of the manufacturing unit. This is achieved by coaching, developing, training and motivating employees along with communication of shared targets, ensuring role clarity for all.
Provide support and coaching on the Daily Direction Setting (DDS) process to continually improve the efficiency and performance of all Converting equipment.
Qualifications and Experience
- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience gained in a high volume 24 / 7 production environment, within an FMCG company.
- Substantial experience in managing an operational maintenance function and implementing world’s best maintenance practice.
Proficient in MS applications.
Ability to coach and develop your team.
Ability to lead and manage change.
