Kakaramea School is a vibrant country school located between Hāwera and Pātea on State Highway 3. Due to relocating, a permanent teaching position is available for the 2026 school year in the junior school. We welcome experienced and beginning teachers.

The successful applicant will be a team player, innovative, have a relationship-based teaching approach and be committed to implementing high quality teaching and learning programmes. They should have a strong understanding of culturally responsive pedagogy and a willingness to continue learning in this area.
