Role Overview
As our Christchurch based Referral Coordinator, you’ll be the first point of contact for social service agencies for housing referrals. This role will act as the primary contact for referrals, providing phone and written support to referrers. It will involve direct coordination with regional teams to manage the entry, transfer, and exit of tenants and service users from Accommodation Services.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary contact for housing referrals from social service agencies.Provide phone and written support to referrers.Coordinate with regional teams to manage entry, transfer, and exit of tenants and service users from Accommodation Services.Leverage strong administrative and communication skills to maintain well‑documented processes.Engage with whānau to understand and meet their needs.Build relationships with key stakeholders and prioritise tasks efficiently.Qualifications & Skills
High level of discretion when processing sensitive information.Be able to work in a non‑judgemental environment.Comfortable using multiple systems including Excel, Microsoft Office.The right to live and work in Aotearoa.Full New Zealand Driver’s License (essential).Benefits
