Analyst Programmer - Associate - Salesforce
PwC New Zealand is seeking a Salesforce Consultant to join our dynamic Customer Transformation team in Auckland.
This full-time permanent role (minimum 37.5 hours per week, Monday–Friday) will focus on Salesforce architecture and integration solutions for enterprise clients.
Responsibilities
Develop architectural blueprints, detailed documentation and developer briefs for proposed solutions.
Design integration architecture between Salesforce and legacy systems for our clients.
Estimate delivery of both Salesforce and integration solutions.
Ensure all PwC processes and risk activities are completed according to PwC Global and Local standards.
Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into effective Salesforce and enterprise solutions.
Build long-lasting client and team relationships.
Identify, support and drive opportunities with existing and new clients within a team environment.
Provide strategic guidance and best practices to ensure system integrity and operational effectiveness.
Lead technical initiatives for the team and across our portfolio of clients, driving best-practice solution leadership.
Leverage AI where possible to accelerate efficiency, accuracy and consistency for project delivery.
Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to drive innovation.
Qualifications
Minimum 2.5 years of experience in the Salesforce ecosystem.
Involved in at least two Salesforce implementations, preferably for enterprise-size clients.
Experience in the Financial Services or Utilities sector.
A solid list of Salesforce certifications, including Platform Developer 1, JavaScript Developer, OmniStudio Developer, and Application / Architecture certifications.
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
Experience building and deploying complex integrations or Salesforce solutions.
Proficiency in Apex, OmniStudio, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce integration tools.
Experience designing and implementing CI / CD deployment pipelines.
Excellent understanding of CRM architecture, integration and functional configuration.
Experience working in an agile environment and familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
Excellent problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.
Proficiency leveraging AI and proven experience using AI in a work context.
Ability to communicate technical concepts in plain English to clients and colleagues.
Ability to travel within New Zealand as needed.
Customer-friendly attitude with a focus on building strong client relationships.
Team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
