We are now seeking a Youth Worker to join our Guidance team supporting the Preparatory School. This is a rewarding role where you’ll make a real difference in the lives of students.
About the role
In this position you will mentor, and support students referred by our Guidance team all while building positive, healthy relationships. You will be helping students develop confidence, independence and leadership skills to tackle everyday challenges as well as navigating the big stuff. It’s expected that you will be a visable presence around the school and will nurture a strong sense of community. You will foster open communication with our Guidance Department and Preparatory School staff.
About you
You will have proven experience working with young people (formal qualifications not required). You will have strong communication and basic leadership skills and the ability to organise projects and manage your time effectively. With the wellbeing of students at the forefront you will have a heart for young people, with energy and resilience and a commitment to the values of St Andrew’s College.

The role is 15 hours per week, fixed-term, term time only commencing Monday 26 January 2026 until December 2026.
