The role of the Restraint Coordinator is crucial in ensuring that IDEA Services adheres to both our internal Restraint Minimisation and Safe Practice Policy, as well as Part 6 of the Ngā Paerewa Health and Disability Services Standard NZS 8134 : 2021. Their contribution is essential in maintaining compliance with these guidelines and promoting a safe and responsible approach to the use of restraint within our organization.
