What You'll Do
As a Graduate Electrical Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to develop specialist technical skills while contributing to the reliable and sustainable operation of our power generation assets.
This is a hands-on role that will see you diving into investigations, design work, technical analysis, and project delivery.
Reporting to our Engineering Manager – Electrical and C&I, you'll work closely with experienced engineers, gaining exposure to real-world challenges and solutions that keep our generation assets performing at their best.
Over the two-year Graduate Programme, you'll continue to grow both technically and personally through mentoring, learning opportunities, and a variety of engineering challenges, all designed to help you thrive as you launch your career in the energy industry.
This is a full-time, permanent position based at our Hamilton office.
You'll be required to spend time at our generation sites gaining valuable hands-on experience whilst learning how our assets operate and how we manage them.
What You'll Need
We're looking for a graduate who's curious, proactive, and eager to make a difference.

Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or a related discipline
Strong interest in power systems, power engineering, and control & instrumentation
Collaborative and practical, with strong problem-solving and communication skills
Graduated within the last 2 years or due to graduate by December
Eligible to work permanently in New Zealand
A full New Zealand driver's licence
