Job descriptionA Level 4 relevant welding trade qualification and 2 years of on‑the‑job experience or 5 years' experience as a Welder / Fabricator A reasonable level of physical fitness and ability The ability to pass a pre‑employment drug and alcohol test as well as random tests throughout employment General engineering workshop or fitting experience (advantageous but not essential) Strong attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and in a team Ability to speak Tagalog an advantage due to members of the team being Filipino nationals Strong interpersonal skills and cultural awareness are essential Full‑time, permanent role (minimum 40 hours per week Monday - Friday, 7am - 4pm with possible overtime) Competitive hourly rate of $30 - $35, depending on skills and experience Supportive, family‑owned company with long‑standing industry reputation Opportunities to grow your skills within a stable and respected organisation

We’re currently looking for an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join our East Tamaki, Auckland team as a Supervisor.
About the Role
In this hands‑on position, you will :
- Carry out repairs and maintenance on transport containers
- Supervise a small team and support day‑to‑day workshop operations
- Contribute to quality workmanship and safe work practices
