Senior Analyst | Investment Banking

Our client is a leading independent investment bank with a strong track record advising on complex M&A transactions and providing expert strategic, financial and transactional advice to a broad range of companies and other commercial entities.

Ongoing deal activity has created an opportunity for a high‑performing investment banking Senior Analyst to join their team. This role will work closely with the Partners of the firm across a diverse client base.

The team advises on transactions across New Zealand, including buy‑side and sell‑side M&A and capital raising mandates, spanning a broad range of industry sectors.

We are seeking candidates with 2‑4 years of experience in Big Four corporate finance / M&A advisory, investment banking, private equity, or strategy consulting. We also welcome interest from returning New Zealanders currently working offshore.

• Tertiary qualification in commerce or law (or other related degree).
• Willingness to undertake further training.
• A proactive planner who maintains direction and focus.
• Sound commercial judgement and perspective.
• A keen eye for detail with sharp observational skills.
• Flexible, resilient, and adaptable.
• A self‑starter and ability to work in a small team.
• Excellent communication skills.
