James Cook High School is a diverse and vibrant learning community committed to doing the very best for our students. Our current roll of over 1,700 students has grown considerably in 2025 and with a further predicted roll growth for 2026. We are looking for a full-time, permanent teacher of history for 2026 start. Our kura provides education for the multicultural diversity of Manurewa.

We are seeking an enthusiastic New Zealand registered teacher who demonstrates empathy and understanding towards our students and their culture. The ability to create flexible and ongoing assessment practices for students.
