He whakamārama mo te tūranga mahi | About the role :
As the Signals Technician 2IC, you’ll be a key support for the day-to‑day operation of our signalling assets—ensuring systems are maintained, installed, and repaired safely and efficiently. You’ll test and troubleshoot interlocking components, set up track circuits, and work closely with the wider team to keep our rail network running smoothly. This is a hands‑on, varied role. From time to time, you’ll step up to lead the team and oversee work planning and delivery. You’ll also contribute to on‑the‑job training and play an active part in our safety‑first culture.
