What You Will Be Doing

As Head of Business Services and Finance, you will be the operational and financial backbone of the business. You will manage Finance, Admin, Executive Assistants, Recruitment, and IT teams, ensuring all departments run efficiently and data‑driven decisions support growth.

  • Lead and mentor department heads across Finance, Admin, EAs, Recruitment, and IT
  • Optimise workflows, systems, and operational processes across all teams
  • Prepare and analyse management accounts, P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
  • Provide insights from financial data, highlighting trends, opportunities, and risks
  • Develop budgets, rolling forecasts, and long‑term financial plans
  • Partner with senior leadership to guide strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and pricing strategies
  • Actively contribute to shaping the long‑term direction of the business
  • Facilitate strong cross‑functional communication and ensure operational transparency
  • Construct dashboards and tracking tools for key data visibility
  • Maintain data integrity and ensure consistent reporting standards across departments
  • Drive operational excellence, introducing process improvements that increase efficiency and consistency

Who You Are

  • A numbers‑savvy leader with a personality – analytical, precise, but approachable and engaging
  • Strong experience in business services management, preferably overseeing multiple teams or departments
  • Confident leading teams across multiple functions, coaching and holding leaders accountable
  • Comfortable using AI, project management, and workflow tools (ClickUp, Asana, HubSpot, or similar)
  • Highly organised with attention to detail, while keeping the big picture in focus
  • A problem solver, solution‑focused, calm under pressure, and always seeking improvements
  • Energetic, personable, and motivated to make a real impact on the business
