Setting up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
Checking ingredients to make sure the quality and freshness
Preparing and Cooking food in various utensils and grillers
Seasoning, portioning, adding sauces to the food during / after cooking
Preparing food to meet client's taste and dietary needs
Arrange food on plates or wrap it to be taken away
Storing and reserving food
Assisting in planning menus, estimating food and labour costs
Cleaning and restocking workstations and ensuring that all equipment is sanitized and prepared for the next shift.
Checking the cleanliness of equipment and operation of machines before each run, to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Assisting with training and coordinating with junior cooks or kitchen hands, as requested by Chef
To be successful you will need to :
Have at least 2 years' work experience in the same industry / field, OR
Have a relevant level 4 qualification or equivalent certificates.
Have a "can-do" attitude and team Spirit
Excellent organization and time-management skills
