TRUCK DRIVER'S

MS AKL Limited is a growing logistics and transport company operating across Auckland. We specialise in freight movement, supply chain support, and delivery services. We are expanding our operations and require a reliable Truck Driver to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for :

manoeuvring vehicles into position for loading and unloading

loading and unloading vehicles using lifting and tipping devices

observing safety requirements when loading and unloading vehicles

making regular quality checks of vehicles to ensure they can be driven safely

estimating weights to comply with load limitations and ensuring safe distribution of weight

ensuring goods are stowed and securely covered to prevent loss and damage

verifying loading documents, checking condition of goods and obtaining certification of deliveries

Skills & Experience Required

Applicants must meet the following :

A valid New Zealand Class 4 or Class 5 Driver Licence (depending on vehicle type)

Clean driving record

Ability to handle physical tasks (lifting / loading)

Good knowledge of Auckland road routes

Able to work independently and manage time effectively

Previous experience in truck driving or logistics preferred

Additional Requirements (Immigration NZ)

The role is full-time (minimum 30 hours per week)

Pay rate is at $26 -$34 as per experience

Must pass a pre-employment drug test

Must provide a clear Ministry of Justice (MOJ) criminal record check

Genuine vacancy with standard industry conditions
