The Lower Hutt franchise is currently experiencing strong growth and seeks to appoint aBusiness Development Managerto join its busy and successful team.Instead of looking for somebody who "ticks all the boxes", we're interested in hearing from sales-focused people, passionate about the Local community, and keen to continuously seek out new business opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong local network and the ability to start conversations with people from all walks of life.Important components of the role include identification of potential markets and development of sales strategies to grow market share by cultivating long-term relationships with key business and referral sources.In addition, the Business Development Manager will be trained in MTF's sales systems and processes and will work collaboratively with the sales team in closing sales and writing loans.To be the best for this roleWe seek dynamic candidates with demonstrable business development and / or sales experience.Tenacious, resilient, and highly motivated, the successful candidate will bring a strong understanding of long lead time selling.Exceptional relationship building and communication skills along with a customer focused approach are essential.Candidates with existing knowledge of consumer lending legislation are of interest, along with those possessing established local networks.This is a great opportunity to shape a brand-new role and make a direct impact on business growth in our community.This is ideally a full-time position, but some flexibility may be considered for an exceptional candidate.In return for your long-term commitment to this position you will be rewarded with;Full training using dedicated web-based finance management systems.A great working environment.An attractive salary package and benefits.Candidates must possess a New Zealand Drivers Licence and the legal right to work in New Zealand.
