Diesel Mechanic

Gleeson Quarries are an integral part of the Gleeson Group which has been operating in the infrastructure roading market for more than 50 years. You will have seen us around transporting bulk material through the greater Auckland Waikato region. We work on major roading projects, ship discharges, construction sites and operate a quarry in North Waikato.

ABOUT THE ROLE

A great opportunity exists for a Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Gleeson Quarries Huntly working on a variety of Plant and Equipment, Road transport, fixed, mobile crushing and screening equipment. You will be taking ownership for preventative and planned maintenance on our mobile fleet.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete repairs, mechanical faults, and maintenance of heavy diesel products
• General problem solving and trouble shooting
• All manner of regular servicing
• Ability to carry out preventative maintenance on all machinery to ensure optimal performance
• Be dedicated to safety in the workplace it is our number one priority we look after ourselves and look after each
