Our client is a well established drilling and civil contractor with a strong pipeline of work across water wells, geotech, utilities, quarry projects and general infrastructure. They’re busy, growing, and looking for a Project Manager who’s comfortable taking ownership of jobs and working closely with crews and clients day to day.
This is a practical role where you’ll be across everything from pricing through to final delivery. It suits someone who enjoys being out on site as much as being in the office, and who’s confident managing people, solving problems and keeping a programme on track.
What the job involves
- Price, plan and run projects from start to finish
- Work directly with clients on scope, pricing, variations and delivery
- Be on site regularly, supporting crews and staying across progress
- Manage communication between operations, clients and field teams
- Handle day to day project admin including cost tracking, claims and invoicing
- Troubleshoot issues early and keep things moving when challenges come up
- Be part of a small, tight senior team who work closely together
