Minimum Skills, Experience, And Qualifications
- You are a qualified pharmacist with a Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) or equivalent.
- You hold a current Annual Practicing Certificate with the Pharmacy Council of New Zealand.

Role Specifics
This role is available on a full-time or part-time basis.Full-time guaranteed hours are 40 per week (Monday‑Friday) plus 2 hours on rostered Sundays (1 in 6 weekends). Part‑time hours are flexible and negotiable.Base wage of $110,000 – $130,000 per annum (commensurate with experience). Pro‑Rata base wage for part‑time position.A relocation bonus of $10,000 will be provided to assist with moving costs.Enjoy a loyalty bonus for your first five years with us, with opportunities to review and continue rewards beyond that.Membership fees, training and accreditation costs are fully covered.Short‑term accommodation available for up to 3 months.Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Dispensing and Medication Management : Accurately and safely dispense prescription and over‑the‑counter medicines, ensuring adherence to all legal and professional standards.Patient Consultation and Counselling : Provide expert advice and counselling to patients on their medications, including proper usage, potential side effects, and adherence to treatment plans.Clinical Services : Offer and administer a range of clinical services, such as vaccinations and minor ailment consultations.Health Promotion : Advise patients on general health, wellness, and disease prevention to support positive health outcomes.Inventory and Administration : Maintain accurate records of all medication stock and prescriptions, and manage pharmacy operations in compliance with established procedures.Collaboration : Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including doctors and nurses, to ensure seamless patient care and communication.Compliance and Safety : Uphold the highest standards of pharmacy practice, adhering to all relevant regulations and codes of ethics in New Zealand.About Unichem Olsens Pharmacy
