Restaurant Manager and Duty Manager

Full‑Time | Remuera, Auckland

Spiga is a small but mighty neighbourhood restaurant — proudly awarded 2 Cuisine Hats and known for our contemporary Italian food, hand‑rolled pasta, and warm, genuine hospitality. We’re looking for a dynamic Front of House Manager to lead our team and help us continue creating memorable dining experiences.

About the role :

This is a hands‑on leadership position for someone who genuinely loves hospitality. You’ll run smooth, confident service on the floor while also taking ownership of the details that make Spiga special — from greeting our loyal regulars to helping organise our events and wine dinners.

You’ll work closely with our owners and kitchen team, contributing to a tight‑knit, supportive, and passionate workplace.

What we’re looking for :

• Experience in a FOH leadership or supervisor role
• A natural host — warm, organised, calm under pressure
• Strong wine knowledge (or enthusiasm to grow it)
• Confidence running service and leading a small team
• Ability to manage bookings, liaise with suppliers, and coordinate events
• A genuine love of neighbourhood hospitality
• Must be available weekends and evenings
• Applicants must already be based in New Zealand. Unfortunately, we cannot support visa applications from overseas.
