Intermediate DevOps Engineer

Platinum Recruitment – Christchurch, South Island

I’m currently recruiting for an Intermediate level AWS DevOps Engineer to join my Christchurch based clients in a 3-month rolling contract assignment. The successful candidate will join an agile development team working across a large pipeline of project assignments.

This is a Christchurch based opportunity, we will not be considering remote or FIFO candidates for this position.

REQUIREMENTS :

The successful candidate will join a collaborative agile development team, you’ll be required to design, develop and maintain robust CI / CD solutions. You’ll be passionate in contributing towards the continuous improvements of our client’s software delivery processes. It’s expected you’ll be a team player and collaborate with your colleagues, continuously learning and developing off of one another.

SKILL SET :

• Relevant tertiary qualification and / or 3+ years of relevant hands-on experience in an Agile team.
• Proficient across AWS Cloud (certification advantageous), Terraform, Docker and Linux.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI / CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Familiarity with automated testing tools, observability platforms and databases.
