Laboratory Technician - Specimen Reception (Start Asap)

Awanui Veterinary and Scientific seeks a full-time Laboratory Technician in Auckland to manage specimen reception with accuracy and excellent client service.

Your Role

Here's what you will be doing :

Receive, sort, and register incoming specimens accurately and efficiently.

Maintain a high standard of customer service, assisting clients and internal teams as needed.

Collaborate with the Specimen Reception team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Follow laboratory protocols and quality standards to maintain sample integrity.

Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and suggesting process enhancements.

Communicate effectively with colleagues and clients regarding sample queries or issues.

Assist with general administrative tasks related to specimen handling and documentation.
