We have an exciting opportunity for a physio to join our Hospital Services team to deliver post‑operative physiotherapy to the inpatients at St Georges Hospital.
This permanent, part‑time role is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of our growing Hospital Services Team and experience working within a hospital environment.
Hours of Work
17.5 hours per week are guaranteed, with shifts mainly at St George’s Hospital. Some patient appointments may take place at Forte Hospital. The caseload varies, so there may be opportunities to work extra hours in agreement with your manager.
You will also be expected to be on the hospital weekend roster for Sundays, rotating cover with the rest of the hospital team. The weekend roster (including your permanent Saturday) is paid at a higher hourly rate.
You will be provided with a comprehensive orientation and the opportunity to shadow hospital team members.
Role Overview
The role is suitable for any Physiotherapist, from new grad to senior clinician, and involves providing inpatient services post‑operatively to orthopaedic, general surgery and cardiothoracic surgical patients. Physiotherapists returning from parental leave and looking for a supervised role are also welcome to apply.
