Tree Climber

A ONE A TREE CARE LIMITED is seeking skilled and safety-conscious Tree Climbers to join our team in the Auckland region . The candidates will be responsible for the following duties-

• Climb trees using ropes, harnesses, and safety gear to access work areas for pruning or removal.
• Fell trees and cut logs into specified lengths using chainsaws and other hand tools.
• Remove branches and debris from felled or trimmed trees.
• Assess trees for potential hazards and determine appropriate cutting or removal methods.
• Operate and maintain chainsaws, chippers, and related equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load, secure, and transport logs, branches, and equipment to and from job sites using company vehicles as required.
• Communicate effectively with ground crew to coordinate safe and accurate conducting operations.
• Follow all workplace health and safety standards, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Conduct routine checks and maintenance of climbing and conducting equipment.
• Perform other related duties as required to support daily operations.

Required to work for a minimum of 30 hours per week and will be paid between $25 to $30 per hour.
