These will include leading the development and delivery of targeted campaigns, using culturally relevant materials.

The communications and marketing advisor will also provide administrative support for the National Bowel Screening Programme.The role is focused on improving equitable participation for Maori and Pacific peoples within the eligible population in Northland, working collaboratively with regional and national partners.

By driving health-specific marketing, communications, and engagement strategies, the Advisor will play a key role in increasing participation and reducing inequities in bowel screening.The Bowel Screening Team in Te Tai Tokerau is a small but passionate group of dedicated professionals committed to improving the health and wellbeing of our Northland communities.

Working collaboratively across the region, the team provides bowel screening services to people throughout Te Tai Tokerau, ensuring equitable access and high-quality care.Strongly connected both regionally and nationally to the National Bowel Screening Programme, the team contributes to a coordinated, consistent approach to early detection and prevention of bowel cancer.
