He angitutanga / The opportunity : We are seeking a Catering Supervisor to join our team at a Central Production Kitchen in Penrose, Auckland .

In this role, you'll oversee daily catering operations, ensuring high standards of food safety, quality, and customer service.

You'll lead and support a team to deliver exceptional results while maintaining compliance and efficiency.

Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities : Supervise and allocate tasks to catering team members during shifts.

Ensure food production and service meet quality, safety, and contractual standards.

Maintain clean and hygienic kitchen and dining areas, including equipment and stock rotation.

Respond promptly to customer requests and resolve issues professionally.

Support rostering, training, and team development to achieve service excellence.

He korero mou / About you : Previous experience in a similar supervisory role within catering or hospitality.

Strong communication skills and the ability to lead and motivate a team.

Flexible, reliable, and committed to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.

Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Holds or is willing to obtain a Police Clearance and NZQA Food Handling Certificate (Units 167
