We’re looking for a Marketing Communications Advisor who can write engaging content, keep our website fresh and accurate, and support the delivery of marketing campaigns that educate and inspire Aucklanders about water.

• Maintain and update Watercare’s website, ensuring content is accurate, current, and easy to navigate.
• Write clear, compelling content for customer channels, newsletters, and collateral.
• Support the delivery of multi-channel marketing and education campaigns, including seasonal and evergreen initiatives.
• Assist with public open days and school education programmes as part of our water literacy efforts.
• Collaborate with creative agencies and internal teams to ensure brand consistency.

• Tertiary qualification in communications, marketing, or related discipline.
• 5+ years’ experience in communications or marketing roles.
• Strong writing skills and ability to tailor content for different audiences.
• Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with website content management systems and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) is desirable.
