Import / Export Logistics Coordinator - 9 Month Fixed Term Contract

Job Description In this multifaceted role, you'll be part of the backbone of our import and export services, overseeing data entry, invoicing, and cartage, all while nurturing enduring customer and supplier relationships.

Your responsibilities will encompass the coordination of sea and airfreight, warehousing, trucking, and more, all while extending support to third-party providers in facilitating Customs clearances for import, export, and trans-shipment.

Here's some of what you'll do : Coordinate and manage all aspects of the shipment process, including booking, documentation, manifests and customs clearance Arrange transportation and logistics services, such as trucking, shipping, sea and air freight, to meet the specific needs of each shipment Prepare and process necessary shipping and customs documents, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and export / import documentation Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements Track and monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery and proactively resolve any issues or delays that may arise Optimize shipping routes and methods to minimize costs and improve efficiency Place Shipping Line Bookings and send to relevant parties Analyse and monitor costs and revenues to ensure that profit margins are consistently achieved Other duties as required This is a role where you will develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, as well as contribute to the continuous improvement of our systems and processes.

Here's what you'll bring to the table : A minimum of three years of experience in a similar position within air freight – sea freight knowledge would be considered an advantage Experience in the use of the Cargowise system would be desirable Team player with positive, customer-centric attitude and exceptional communication skills Strong organisational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple shipments and deadlines simultaneously Attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation and compliance with customs regulations Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions in fast-paced environment Demonstrated adaptability to work to changing deadlines Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite A flexible approach to working hours Training will be provided for someone with a "can do" attitude, a strong work ethic and an appetite for success.

This is a permanent full-time position based in our Parnell office.
