About the Role

We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Bar Manager to lead our beverage operations and elevate the guest experience at Good Day Bar. This is your chance to take ownership of the bar’s personality, craft unforgettable moments, and inspire a team to deliver exceptional service every day.

You’ll be the go-to person for everything drinks, service, and team leadership – making your mark at the heart of one of Wellington Airport’s most vibrant hospitality venues.

This is a full‑time role working 12 : 30 – 8 : 30pm on a rotational roster (One weekend on, One weekend off!).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the beverage program with creativity and precision – from concept to execution.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Events to deliver bold ideas and drive revenue.
• Recruit, train, and motivate a passionate Front of House team focused on service and performance.
• Manage POS systems, cost control, stock management, and operational procedures.
• Be hands‑on during service, leading from the front when it matters most.
• Ensure compliance with WHS, sustainability, and food safety standards.
