We see a 0.2 FFTE permanent learning support coordinator for 2026.

This suitable candidate will ....

• Lead and coordinate the delivery and resourcing of learning support across the school
• Work collaboratively with teachers to identify student needs, plan targeted programmes and monitor progress
• Understands inclusive practices and learning support systems
• Ensure every child receives the guidance and resources they need to achieve their potential by working closely with students, teachers, whānau, school leaders and external agencies
• Provide support to individual students or groups of students when targeted or tailored supports are needed
• Build strong, positive relationships with students, staff and families to create a supportive learning environment
• Support learners with diverse learning and behavioural needs
• Organise and oversee the professional learning of teacher aides
• Work with the leadership team to strengthen school-wide learning support systems and contribute to creating inclusive practices for all learners.
