Job description

Based in the stunning town of Cambridge, Bo & Co Electrical is a high-quality Electrical and Solar services company. We are seeking a smart, proactive, and highly organised Business Support Manager to join our team.

This full-time role is much more than administration — you’ll work independently, take initiative, and also play a key role in helping shape company processes, policies, and SOPs.

What You’ll Do :

  • Manage communications and enquiries via phone, email, and general correspondence, ensuring that leads are processed and followed up.
  • Maintain and manage customer databases, job records, and operational documentation.
  • Support sales, marketing, and client engagement, including creating social content, flyers, and welcome packs.
  • Oversee scheduling and operations : weekly job calendars, vehicle maintenance tracking, and coordination of teams.
  • Assist with HR and onboarding processes, staff events, and company culture initiatives.
  • Manage payroll, accounts receivable / payable, bank reconciliation, GST / PAYE, and reporting.
  • Develop, document, and maintain company policies, SOPs, and operational procedures.
  • Provide reporting for financial, operational, and sales metrics.

About You :

  • At least 3-5 years of administration or operational coordination experience – Xero experience is a plus!
  • Strong initiative — able to work independently, identify gaps, and improve processes.
  • Highly organised, accurate, and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Confident in learning and implementing policies, SOPs, and systems.
  • Ability to balance multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and deliver results.
