Te Kura o Tiori - Burnham School is seeking an exceptional, experienced, and fully NZ-registered l iteracy acceleration teacher to join our supportive, dedicated learning support team in a part-time (0.5 FTE) capacity . For the successful applicant, there may be an opportunity to negotiate further part-time hours and a fixed-term leadership unit for leading English across the school for the 2026 school year only.
This vital position focuses on accelerating the literacy progress of targeted students who require intensive, evidence-based support from Y0-6. This is primarily a small-group and one-on-one teaching role , delivered across four days (Monday to Thursday) .
