We are seeking a passionate and qualified early childhood teacher / primary teacher with a special interest and expertise in working with children 3 to 6 years olds to join our team at Aspire Wanaka.

About the role

As part of our Preschool team, you will :

  • Contribute to a fun, creative environment providing engaging play based educational experiences.
  • Build trusting partnerships with whānau, respecting and supporting their aspirations for their children.
  • Deliver knowledge rich curriculum under the guidance of our Curriculum lead
  • Work collaboratively with a supportive team and contribute to a positive, professional culture.
  • Previous primary experience is a bonus or experience delivering phonics / numeracy content in an early childhood setting

About you

You will be :

  • Qualified and registered (NZ Teaching Council)
  • Professional or personal experience in an early years settings (3-6 year olds)
  • Knowledgeable about early childhood development, phonics, numeracy, and responsive relationships.
  • Compassionate, patient, and committed to providing high-quality education and care.
  • A reflective practitioner who values teamwork, communication, and continuous learning.
