About the Role

My client is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Secondary Teacher with a specialisation in Maths, Science, PE, or French to join their team in South Canterbury.

This is a fantastic opportunity to teach within an independent, values-based school that's recognised for its collaborative staff culture, high academic standards, and modern learning approach.

You’ll teach across Years 9-13 (NCEA) in an environment that encourages innovation, reflective practice, and professional growth.

The role can commence immediately or from the start of 2026, giving flexibility for the right educator to plan their next step with confidence.

About You

You’ll be a registered New Zealand teacher who :

• Have strong classroom practice and experience teaching at secondary level
• Build positive relationships and engages students through relational, inclusive practice
• Bring enthusiasm for digital learning and student‑centred approaches
• Value teamwork, reflection, and ongoing professional growth
