We are seeking two passionate and fluent Te Reo Māori speaking teachers to join our kura for fixed-term, part-time (0.2 FTTE) positions in 2026. These roles are to provide release cover every Friday for our Level 1 Māori immersion class teachers .

We will consider employing one person as 0.4 FTTE to cover two days per week, but this would not be our preference.

You will be working with dedicated kaiako and ākonga who are immersed in te reo and Māori values - one teina class Y1-3 and the tuākana class Y4-7. These positions are ideal for someone who is passionate about Māori education and committed to nurturing the identity, language, and culture of our tamariki, preferably have experience in Level 1 immersion settings, understand and practice Tikanga Māori, can build positive relationships with tauira and whānau, and who are reliable, flexible, and collaborative.
