Learning Assistant

Waimairi-iri Burnside High School is seeking an enthusiastic and caring Learning Assistant to support students with their learning and wellbeing across a range of classroom settings. The successful applicant will demonstrate empathy, flexibility, and strong interpersonal skills, and enjoy working collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to help students achieve their potential.

A willingness to contribute positively to the wider life of the school and uphold our values and community spirit is essential.

This is a permanent, part time (27.5 hours, term time only) position commencing at the start of Term 1, 2026 , or by negotiation. Salary will be dependent on experience.
