We’re L’affare – Wellington’s original coffee business, born in 1990 out of a love for espresso. It all started at our café and HQ on College Street, and 30 years later, we’re still proudly there. Over the years, we’ve grown into a full‑scale roastery in Mt Cook, fuelling New Zealand’s coffee culture one cup at a time.
Our people make us who we are today. We’re a mixed bunch of creative, industrious, adventurous humans, all with a great love for serving NZ the freshest and best coffee possible.
Why join us as our Brand Coordinator?
Working with us means you will be part of a bigger coffee business that offers the stability and reputation of a long‑standing company coupled with the dynamic nature and agility of smaller business units.
Working in close partnership with our GM of L’affare, and the wider marketing team, you will play a key role in driving our day‑to‑day marketing activities. This position offers broad exposure across the marketing spectrum, from overseeing our retail marketing initiatives including assisting with retail events and coordinating promotional campaigns, to managing our social media channels and supporting café marketing initiatives – to name a few. It’s a dynamic opportunity to build hands‑on experience while contributing to projects that shape our brand presence.

Ideally, you’ll have 2+ years experience in brand coordination, marketing, or a related field. You’re eager to learn, a strong communicator and confident in voicing your opinions to help shape the team’s direction.
