Job descriptionFriday 2nd - Thursday 8th January 2026 Monday 19th - Sunday 25th January 2026 Sunday 1st February onwards Registration with the New Zealand Pharmacy Council. Must present a negative COVID test a few days out from the start of bookings. Current PDA Insurance. You must enjoy counselling as this is an open plan pharmacy. Being ECP trained would be an advantage. Locum must be willing to work as a contractor and invoice for wages. Friday 2nd - Thursday 8th January / / 70-80 / hr (neg) Monday 19th - Sunday 25th January / / 70-75 / hr (neg) Sunday 1st February onwards / / 70-75 / hr (neg) Accommodation : Self-contained apartment / motel within 2km of pharmacy. Travel : Flights or mileage. Mileage is $1.04 per km. Open to locums from North and South Island.

Client & Location Information
Invercargill is favourably placed on the Southern Scenic Route and is the gateway to some of New Zealand's most beautiful scenery and destinations. Invercargill is a mere 10 minute drive to Oreti Beach, and less than 30 minutes to the port town of Bluff. Hours
Weekdays / / 8.30 am - 8pm
Weekends / / 9am to 6pm
Depending on your availability, these hours are negotiable. Days off will depend on the length of your availability.
Job Specification
You will be working within a team of 1-2 other pharmacists with the support of 1-2 dispensary technicians. General Dispensing for a busy script trade using Toniq. Counselling, some methadone dispensing and local Medico Packs.
