Lifeguards Wanted - Otorohanga Memorial Pools

Otorohanga Pools are on the hunt for a team of Lifeguards for the busy summer season ahead!

We are looking for part time, fixed term staff.

Responsibilities

Lifeguarding the pools

Keeping grounds clean and tidy

Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed

Attending all lifeguard trainings and meetings (required)

Be able to swim 200 metres in under 6 minutes

Requirements

Required to have PLPC and current First Aid certificate (US

Hold a current NZ working visa

Must be available during the Christmas and New Year period

Must be available to work weekends

Flexible hours and 8–30 hours per week; may pick up extra hours during school holiday period

Hours

This is a fixed-term, part time position from 16th November

• to 31st March

8–30 hours per week (extra hours may be available during the school holiday period).

We run on a 7-day roster and are open from 5.30am–8pm weekdays, 6am–8pm weekends.
