Chef

We are searching for an experienced Chef to join our team in our restaurant.

Qualifications & experience

Flexibility in work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Previous experience in a similar role.

Proven knowledge of food and beverage items

Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items.

• Great energy, enthusiasm and team spirit
• At least 2 years experience in a Vietnamese dishes, and authentic cooking method.
• Attention to detail and good technical skills.
• Speed and efficiency

In this role you will be required to :

Maintain establishment policies and procedures in the kitchen e.g. house rules.

Maintain standards for Food Safety in all food preparation areas.

Ensure all kitchen equipment & environments are operational, tidy & in good condition.

Produce food to establishment standards.

Order food and food preparation items / non-consumables when required.

Ensure prep is up to date for days off.

Communicate with and support staff.

Impart knowledge, skills and train staff to encourage high standards.

Uphold morale in the kitchen.

Attend kitchen meetings.
