Job descriptionCommunicate and collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplinary healthcare team Participate and assist in clinical or service improvement initiatives Support the clinical education of occupational therapy students Contribute to in-service training and hospital educational programmes Min Degree in Occupational Therapy AHPC-registerable Min 1 year experience in Geriatrics, Neurology, Orthopaedics (including Hand Therapy), or Palliative Care Strong communication and interpersonal skills Able to work both independently and as part of a team Proficient in Microsoft Office
Salary : Up to $6,000
Location : Queenstown
Work Schedule : Mon to Fri + 0.5 Saturday shift (once every 4 weeks)
Job Responsibilities
Primary Duties
- Assess and manage patients referred for occupational therapy independently
- Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans in line with clinical standards
- Provide timely reviews to support continuity of care
- Accurately document patient progress and maintain proper records
- Practise within professional scope and seek supervision or clinical support when necessary
