We are seeking a locum Obstetrician and Gynaecologist from February - June 2026 to support our team of eleven consultants at Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora - Southern.

Our department supports a maternity unit with an antenatal and postnatal area with approximately 20 beds, operating theatre, and antenatal and outpatient obstetric clinics. Dunedin Hospital has a Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and a dedicated Women's Health Unit.

The service is supported by a team of experienced midwives, obstetrics, gynaecology, and colposcopy nurses.

The successful applicant will be expected to provide consultant led antenatal, gynaecology and colposcopy clinic services as well as working in :
