Manager Regulations And Compliance

We're looking for an experienced people leader to manage our high-performing Regulations and Compliance team.

The Manager Regulations and Compliance is accountable for the delivery of the Energy Efficiency (Energy Using Products) Regulations, the Energy Efficiency (Vehicle Fuel Economy Labelling) Regulations, and the Trans-Tasman Equipment Energy Efficiency Programme (E3).

The Regulations and Compliance team has an end-to-end regulatory focus.

The role will lead the team to ensure the successful drafting of rules and regulations; assisting industry to comply; and delivering a risk-based compliance and enforcement programme.

To be successful in this role, you'll be an energetic leader, with big picture thinking and a willingness to drive change.

You'll also bring

A relevant qualification in public policy, legal science, social sciences, or other related discipline or equivalent work experience

Demonstrated people management experience

A collaborative communication style and the ability to influence
