About the Role :

We’re on the hunt for a Retail Assistant to join the passionate fishing and hunting sales team at Hamills Rotorua! You’ll be the friendly face in the store, chatting with customers, offering advice, and helping them find the right gear.

What You’ll Be Doing :

• Sharing your expertise in fishing, hunting and outdoor gear to help customers make informed choices.
• Building rapport and offering knowledgeable, down to earth advice.
• Managing sales transactions and maintaining tidy and well stocked displays.
• Keeping an eye out for theft and maintaining a safe environment.
• Supporting the team with general retail duties and, if you’re keen, getting involved with social media content and community engagement.
• Spooling reels, rigging tackle, mounting scopes, sighting rifles (plenty of learning to be done)
