Te Whānau Tupu Ngātahi o Aotearoa – Playcentre Aotearoa is a well known and loved early childhood organization with over 80 years of supporting parents to take the lead in their children’s learning through play. Playcentre operates over 400 Playcentres throughout the country.

Purpose of the position :

Space is an amazing programme that gives new parents that ‘village’ they need to help raise their baby. Many Space members move on to become Playcentre families.

We are searching for motivated and enthusiastic programme facilitators to join our team. As a programme facilitator, you will help parents and their babies connect with other new parents while exploring parenting, children’s development and most importantly, play.

Wednesdays 9am – 12.30pm. This is a fixed term position during term time only ending 23 September 2026.

The candidate must :

• Have Playcentre Course 3, Level 4 or above or hold an ECE degree or diploma

OR

Have completed Level 2 Space facilitator training or be willing to complete this.
