Our team of specialist pathologists, scientists, technicians, phlebotomists, couriers, and shared services personnel deliver a world-class service that together collects, analyzes, and reports over 7 million patient results annually.About the role | Mo te turanga : We are currently seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our Core laboratory team.

It is a permanent, full-time position of 80 hours per fortnight, based at our Masterton Laboratory and includes participation in a 24 / 7 rotating roster.You will be willing to learn new skills, work well alone and as part of a team.

Extremely well-organised, detail-oriented, and friendly with a strong focus on quality and customer service.

The successful applicant must have a high degree of accuracy and be self-sufficient to excel in this role.About you | He korero mouTo be successful in this role, you will need to : A team focus with initiative, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and possess the ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.Excellent attention to detail, with good record keeping skills.The ability to work independently, while in a supported role.Registration with the Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand and a current Annual Practicing Certificate as a Medical Laboratory Technician.Flexibility with your working hours will be invaluable to the team.A sound knowledge of laboratory operations including safety, operation of equipment and hands-on practical experience in a Laboratory.Eligibility to work in New Zealand.If you do not yet have your registration with the Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand, we will also consider candidates who are in the process of becoming qualifiedWhat's in it for you | He aha mou : You will be joining a friendly, high-performing, and forward-thinking team environment.
